•We are closed for pick-ups and drop-offs on Sundays and major holidays.
Required Vaccinations:
Dogs - DHLP-P, Rabies and Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Cats - FVRCP and Rabies
You must provide proof of vaccines at the time of boarding or, for your convenience, you may fax it to us prior to your arrival at 417-326-6805. Pets arriving without proof of vaccinations given by a veterinarian will be vaccinated upon arrival at owner's expense.
Flea & Tick Treatment and Internal Parasites:
Any pets with fleas or ticks will be treated with CAPSTAR or FRONTLINE PLUS immediately for an additional fee. Since dogs are allowed outside, we strongly recommend FRONTLINE PLUS be applied before boarding. Although we take every precaution to keep our facility and play areas flea and tick free, there is no substitute for preventive care!
For your convenience, we stock Frontline Plus in a 3-month supply or we can administer it as an individual dose. If you bring Frontline (or Advantage or Advantix for dogs) from home, we will be happy to apply it to your pet while boarding. To keep our facility and play areas as parasite-free as possible, if internal parasites are observed, pets will be dewormed with a broad-spectrum dewormer immediately at owner's expense.
Feeding:
Your pet's comfort and safety is our primary concern.
Therefore, we feed Hill's Prescription Diet and Science Diet foods to minimize the risk of digestive troubles.
You may bring your pet's food, but we may elect to feed ours in case of stomach upsets.
Toys & Bedding:
You are welcome to bring along two of your pet's favorite toys, labelled with your pet's name. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged toys.
We ask that you please do not bring personal bedding. Identification and the need for frequent washing makes it difficult to keep these items. Comfortable and clean bedding will be provided for your pet.
Special Needs:
We are uniquely qualified to care for dogs and cat with special needs, including geriatric and arthritic pets, diabetics and those with other medical needs.
All medications must be in containers with written directions on the bottles. If the dosage of medication differs from what you actually give, you must provide us with written directions for that prescription.
There is a nominal daily fee for administering medications.
Emergencies:
When you board your pet, you will be asked to provide an emergency number where we can reach you at
any given time during your pet's stay. If you will be out of reach, please furnish a friend or family member's
phone number who may be contacted instead.
In the event of a medical emergency, we are able to provide some emergency care until we get your pet to your regular veterinarian. If necessary, or if we cannot contact your veterinarian, we will choose an emergency care provider.
Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to serving you and your pet!
